Mobile owners will be directly able to control the on screen characters by tilting the screen in a same way we play games on Nintendo Wii.

popular OperaMini mobile browser is out of beta and is now available for download, the new release Opera Mini 4.1 features several improvement over the previous versions including tools for attaching files to Web-based email, photo uploading to your blog, downloading attachments from email for storage on your phone, and a much handy feature of saving and viewing web pages offline.

Opera claims that the latest version is 50% faster than Opera 4.0. For mobile browsing its a definite plus as Opera’s mobile software uses a remote server to pre-process Web pages before sending them to your phone. OperaMini 4.1 even lets you search for text within a Web page so you can get to the information you need even quicker than before. It also has auto completion feature which will suggest completions for you based on your Bookmarks and browsing history, making address input faster. I am already a happy fan of OperaMini and if you have not tried it yet then download and try it now, its better than any mobile browsers available on the internet.

It has hardly been five days now for Opera 9.5 being released, the statistics reported by Opera Watch are just amazing. Opera hits more than 4.7 million downloads that’s almost a million download a day. And active opera are detected on around 20 million desktops & Opera Mini has been raised to 12 million mobiles.

Here are the key statistics provided by Opera Watch:

New usage figures are out as well, and they look just as good, with more than 20 million users running the desktop browser, and 12 million running Opera Mini. That’s twice the number of users they had when Opera 9.0 appeared two years ago.

To put these numbers in perspective:
  # Nearly one-fourth of Opera users downloaded the new release within the first five days.
  # Opera Mini has more than half as many users as Opera Desktop.
  # More people use Opera Desktop each month than live in the state of New York.
  # More people use Opera Mini each month than live in Greece

After the launch of Gmail from Google, Yahoo faced a diverted crowd to it. Since then both these major competitors in e-mail market have been offering various services like free IMAP & POP, tons of free storage, etc to beat each other. And this fight comes to domains. Yahoo brings two new domains ymail.com & rocketmail.com to beat the market.
Rocketmail.com was acquired by Yahoo in 1997 along with his owner. Currently both ymail.com & rocketmail.com point to Yahoo Mail. At 12 PDT today you will be able to create email address with these domains.

You can grab your favourite username’s as all of them will be available but hurry as everyone will try capturing as soon as it comes out.

Some time back, Windows Live Mail attached a lot of domains to their service but this multi-domain trick didn’t worked. Now lets see how yahoo distracts users mind by repeating this domain feature.

While the recently released Opera 9.5 had gained a lot of popularity, hacks start appearing on net. One of the cool feature of Opera 9.5 is Speed Dials. By default its value is set to 9 (3 columns & 3 rows). You can increase this number by following the below trick.
Set atleast one speed dial before following further steps.

Now go to that (Preference) folder & open speeddial.ini

If you’ve been in the gaming circuit long enough, chances are there’s at least one iteration of the Need for Speed franchise that hit the sweet spot for you. For me it was NFS 2 and Most Wanted that worked the magic. I loved the fact that they were built on simple but fundamentally strong mechanics – for instance, NFS 2 had its scenic street racing and strong racing dynamics (at least for its time) while Most Wanted used the Black list and those awesome cop chases as a pivot.

It has got Grip races, drag, drift, speed challenge. The speed challenge will really thrill you.
