The LG Secret (LG KF750) is the successor to the LG Chocolate and LG Shine, but it comes with a high-end specification much closer to that to the LG Viewty.

Forming part of what LG called their third-generation Black Label series of devices, along with a new music phone rumoured to be announced in the next couple of months, the LG Secret is a high-end device with a price tag to match.

This is a 5 megapixel camera phone, it comes with a fairly large 2.4" 240 x 320 pixel touchscreen display, it supports HSDPA high-speed data and comes with an unusual carbon fibre casing to give it a distinctive look. At just 11.8mm thick, the KF750 Secret is possibly the slimmest 5 megapixel device on the market.

As with the KU990 Viewty, the camera is a strong point, although it lacks the KU990's advanced lens. The camera has an autofocus and LED flash, and can capture VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixel) video at 30 fps, with QVGA (320 x 240 pixel) video at up to 120 fps. There's a secondary camera for video calling too.

The Secret's touchscreen interface is reported to be derived from the KF510 and KF600 handsets. Most phone operations can be carried out with the numeric keypad safely tucked away, because the main controls are on the front and side of the KF750. Touchscreen phones are definitely in vogue, and the LG Secret will certainly have some market appeal because of this. The screen can work in either landscape or portrait modes and will rotate automatically, and there's also a light sensor that can adjust the brightness according the ambient lighting conditions.

The KF750 Secret also has a multimedia player, plus an FM radio. The internal 100MB of memory can be expanded using microSD cards up to a maximum of 4GB. Stereo Bluetooth is supported, and there's a 3.5mm headset socket too. Software includes a web browser, email client, document viewer, Google Maps and YouTube support. However, the LG KF750 Secret does not come with GPS, so its use as a navigation tool is limited.

It's a relatively heavy device at 116 grams, although that's lighter than the rival Nokia N95 8GB. Talktime is quoted as being 200 minutes with up to 11 days standby time. It's a tri-band GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 device with UMTS 2100, which effectively means that the KF750 is not suitable for North American markets.

This is an expensive device - LG say that the SIM free price of the LG KF750 Secret at launch will be around €549 (£440) which is significantly more expensive than the current price for an N95 8GB. For that sort of money, we would expect to see GPS support - but then the LG Secret does have a touchscreen, unlike the Nokia. If you view the Secret as a rival to the iPhone, then it certainly looks better on paper.

LG have stated that the KF750 Secret will arrive in Europe first, followed by Asia and then the rest of the World.

Garmin's nuvi ,was the possible iPhone killer. It was at display at a show in singapore. It may be released later this year.Yes it is really a sleek phone like the phone but thinner than it.It boasts of a 3.5"display,Wi-Fi,GPS,3G,HSDPA,Bluetooth,a finnese camera.

It doesn't seem to be Multitouch or a good design unlike the iPhone.

Aside from Apple, Garmin is the only company I’ve seen that understands UI design for small devices. The Nuvi is dead simple
to use. If they can translate their GPS UI chops into a phone UI, they may be on to something big. Someone is going to make
a product that is considered the official alternative to the iPhone, and Garmin is well positioned to claim that title.

We can define RSS more technically as a lightweight, topical, metadata and syndication format. Let us look into each feature to get a vivid picture:

Lightweight:
This is a very important feature looked upon by many users as one of the
reasons to prefer RSS tool. RSS is very small, in the sense – it requires less
space, usually less than a hundred kilobytes of space. RSS files are XML
documents, which can be written using any text editor (Word, notepad,
emacs, vi etc) very easily.

Topical:
RSS highlights what you think is important on your page and that would be
the contents seen by the other readers. For example, if you are a news
organization, you may want to focus on the latest headlines, if you are a
businessman you may want to showcase about your products or if you are a
publisher you may want to throw light on your latest book releases.

Metadata:
Metadata is the information about your data. You can embed details about
your data in your RSS file. For example, who wrote the article you are
highlighting or how often your RSS file wil be read to see if you have added
any information.

Syndication:
As we have already seen that it is to present a snapshot, in a specified
formatted file, of what you consider most important about your site at the
moment.

With the oil prices soaring to a new high, petrol is also becoming dearer owing to the taxes levied by the Indian government. And this eats away a major chunk of our citizens purse. The government is also suffering owing to high subsidies on fuel products. If the fuel prices go on increasing everything will come to a standstill. The prices doesnot seem to comedown for now, hence we have to try to reduce our fuel consumption by switching to renewable sources which are cheap and also easily available. One thing is that we can replace bikes that run on petrol by electric ones(that are battery operated). This seems to be an attractive one to the people who really are environment conservative. These battery operated bikes aren't priced high and also cost less than the petrol bikes. They also give better mileage & consume very less power per kilometer. It is easy to maintain and is also energy efficient with zero emission.Hence these e-bikes are going to be the next generation bikes. Hence by lesss depending on petrol we can save our money and also less the burden the government is facing due to subsidies.

Launched alongside The Museum of Modern Art “Design and The Elastic Mind” exhibition, the Morph concept device is a bridge between highly advanced technologies and their potential benefits to end-users. This device concept showcases some revolutionary leaps being explored by Nokia Research Center (NRC) in collaboration with the Cambridge Nanoscience Centre (United Kingdom) – nanoscale technologies that will potentially create a world of radically different devices that open up an entirely new spectrum of possibilities.

Morph concept technologies might create fantastic opportunities for mobile devices:
Newly-enabled flexible and transparent materials blend more seamlessly with the way we live
Devices become self-cleaning and self-preserving
Transparent electronics offering an entirely new aesthetic dimension
Built-in solar absorption might charge a device, whilst batteries become smaller, longer lasting and faster to charge
Integrated sensors might allow us to learn more about the environment around us, empowering us to make better choices

In addition to the advances above, the integrated electronics shown in the Morph concept could cost less and include more functionality in a much smaller space, even as interfaces are simplified and usability is enhanced. All of these new capabilities will unleash new applications and services that will allow us to communicate and interact in unprecedented ways.
