Vodafone one of the two service providers for selling iPhone in India is looking for selling the phone in installments to increase the sales.It has been in discussions with some banks like ICICI & HSBC for providing finance for six or twelve months. On the other hand the other service provider Airtel has not made any revelations about its plans.Inspite of the prices being high than expected Airtel managed to get presale bookings for about 200,000 phones.In India, the iPhone is priced at Rs. 31,000 for 8GB and Rs. 36,100 for 16GB of memory space.


As announced earlier Apple launched its product iphone 3G in India through Airtel & vodafone.Though there wasn't enough excitement among the mobile lovers,the price tag was pretty too high than the expected price.The 8Gb version costs Rs.31,000 and 16Gb version costs Rs.36,100.the phone was released at the stroke of midnight on 21st august.Also Apple has announced earlier the release of limited stock.Those who had wished to buy the phone had to pay Rs.10,000 in advancce to book their handset.

Nokia has finally launched the 6210 Navigator, the company's first GPS-enabled mobile device with an integrated in-map compass for pedestrian guidance. It is GPS enabled quad-band GSM phone, the Nokia 6210 Navigator features built-in GPS receiver with Nokia Maps, 3.2 Megapixels camera with 8X digital zoom and video recording capability, MP3 Media player, FM stereo radio, EDGE and 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth and built-in GPS receiver.

The 6210 Navigator comes with the pre-installed maps of Delhi and NCR, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad and a 6-month navigation bundle. Maps of additional Indian cities can be added by the user.
It also features an accelerometer, measuring changes in orientation and direction as you go along.

The Nokia 6210 Navigator Slide mobile phone is also equipped with microSD memory card slot offering maximum of 8-GB expandable memory and a 512 MB microSD memory card is included in sales package.The device is ready for use out of the box, even without a SIM-card.

The phone also has in-built GPS system, that facilitates as a navigation and positioning tool. Essentially iPhone could be priced somewhere around $499 or Rs 20,000.


Cuil (pronounce it as "cool") is a new search engine that displays the results with relatively long entries.Cuil was founded by highly respected team of Tom Costello who has worked with IBM and former employees of Google Anna Patterson, Russell Power and Louis Monier. Tom Costello heads the company.The company raised $33 million from venture capital firms.It went live on 28th of july 2008.Its launch created widespread press coverage as its founders say they offer faster & cheaper webpage indexes than google.But on the same day Cuil nearly crashed immediately after launch owing to "overwhelming demand".The founders say it needs to be debugged to improve its results.


Samsung brings out its best ever phone made the omnia i900.It is a smart multimedia phone.It has got everything a mobile freak wants.The Samsung Omnia i900 offers a range of multimedia features, including a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and face detection, as well as support for DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264 WMV and MP4 video files. The Samsung Omnia i900 will be available in 8GB and 16GB models, and a microSD slot supporting up to 16GB cards allows for further memory expansion.

Samsung Omnia is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and comes packed with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word). Even though the OMNIA is 100% touch screen, Samsung included an optical mouse for ease of navigation.

The Samsung Omnia was unveiled at CommunicAsia, Singapore from June 17 to 20 and was commercially launched in the Southeast Asian market starting from the same week. The phone is available in the European market from July.
